His expertise spans corporate and technology transactions, angel and venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property protection. Often considered a key member of his clients’ leadership team, he invests time in deeply understanding their businesses, helping them navigate legal challenges while supporting their growth and long-term success.

Specializing in complex commercial transactions, Aaron offers extensive experience in corporate law, including angel and venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property protection. His practice particularly emphasizes privacy and data security compliance, with deep expertise advising ecommerce, technology, data analytics, advertising, and FinTech companies on U.S. and international privacy regulations.

Prior to founding Messing, P.C., Aaron was a partner at a boutique full-service law firm serving clients ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies. He has also served in critical leadership roles, including Chief Privacy Officer at Advanced Health Media, LLC (a multinational technology and service provider) and Chief Privacy and Security Officer at Avatar Solutions LLC (a leading enterprise health care consulting firm prior to its acquisition by Press Gainey).

Aaron is a graduate of Binghamton University (BA cum laude, MA magna cum laude) and graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law.

Aaron has been recognized as a New York Metro “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2016-2022, and a New Jersey “Rising Star” from 2017-2021. He is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (Certified Information Privacy Professional/US).
