Ale Maldonado (she/her/hers) provides legal expertise and practical knowledge to her clients, representing businesses of all sizes in connection with complex contractual and intellectual property disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as in various dispute resolution forums. Ale is also a member of the firm’s corporate and transactional practice, where she uses her litigation experience to structure and negotiate complex agreements with a litigator’s eye towards avoiding and preemptively resolving disputes.

Over the course of her career, Ale has represented and continues to represent sophisticated clients ranging from closely held startups to public multinational entities in a variety of industries, including ecommerce, fintech, software and complex technologies, consumer goods, health and wellness, hospitality, and real estate. She takes an efficient, personable, and reliable approach to representing her clients and achieving their desired goals.

Prior to joining Messing Law, Ale practiced at a renowned global law firm and a premier mid-size, business-focused law firm. She holds a B.A. in English, cum laude, from Boston College and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

Ale’s values are rooted in social justice. With a passion for pro bono, she has provided legal services to a variety of worthy causes, and enjoys donating her time to representing artists, musicians, and small businesses in Brooklyn.
